This is another great little hiding hole, but it can be tricky to get into, and tricky to find deep water to anchor in, if that’s what you need. For shallow draft boats willing to maybe get their bottom muddy, this spot can be great. It is well protected from the constant summer time southwest, there’s a nice ramp and public access floating dock at the top of the harbor with fresh water, a shower and a porta potty at the public beach. When you go back into the inner harbor, there is a winding skinny channel around the island and some lovely homes that brings you to several choices of places to drop the hook. Feel around a bit to find what works for you, and know that the shallower parts do often pop above water at low tide.
